Capital Improvement Projects – some key points are: a 1% cost of living adjustment (not 3%), fire services contract reductions of $1 million per year and broader reductions of $1 million per year across all departments in FY 2026/27 (page 5) (staff report pages 4-5, general fund long term financial forecast page 6, capital improvement projects and fund sources pages 7-8). Worth noting also that the plan assumes an additional $1 million of ongoing expenditure cuts in FY 27-28, an additional $500,000 of ongoing expenditure cuts in FY 28-29, and an additional $250,000 of ongoing expenditure cuts in FY 2029-30 for a total of $2,750,000 in ongoing expenditure cuts from current levels in FY 2029-30 and subsequent years (page 6).
