Pinole City Council Meeting, 3-7-23

Tomorrow, 3-7- Pinole City Council meeting starting at 5 PM, Pinole City Hall/Hybrid. You can find the agenda packet here. There will be proclamations recognizing American Red Cross Month, Women’s History Month, International Women’s Day, and Disability Awareness Month, followed by a presentation from CalPERS. There are consent calendar items for a contract to a consultant to develop an active transportation plan, and allocating funding to develop a city-wide property and facilities master plan.

Next we have 2 public hearings introducing ordinances amending the city municipal code. The first focuses on accelerating the nuisance abatement procedure timeline (appeals go to an official rather than a board, allows waiving the courtesy notice). The second changes the municipal code to allow ConFire to have jurisdiction and authority over fire and emergency medical response in Pinole, now that Pinole’s contract for service with ConFire is active.

Finally, we get to new business, where we have reviewing city council meeting procedures (carried over from the last meeting) and discussing options for City-supported 4th of July events.

You can join the meeting by zoom direct link here, entering the webinar ID 893 3500 0272 into zoom directly, or calling +1 (669) 900-6833 or +1 (253) 215-8782 or +1 (346) 248-7799, then entering the meeting ID 893 3500 0272#. 1. He replied that there should be a 10-second delay at most, and that the info overlay relies on an old computer that broke down and would be rather expensive to replace. He also thanked you for your comments.
