Some items of note- Proclamations honoring the police officer and firefighter of the year, MLK Day, and Lunar New Year; an update from WestCAT on service levels and the shift to a 0-emissions fleet. On the consent calendar, second readings for adopting the code of ethics as part of the municipal code (and expanding it to apply to the city treasurer), allowing for FBI fingerprint background checks for city employees (also barring felons and persons who committed misdemeanors of “moral turpitude” from employment by the city), setting a budget for planning contractors, contract to start engineering design services for the Pinon Sanitary Sewer fix. Public Hearing to adopt the 2023-31 housing element. New business to change council meeting format to remove seat spacing requirement (which I didn’t see enforced) and receive the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (which on page 1202 of the agenda packet claims that Pinole had its population drop below FY 2013 levels in FY 2022).

Again, Can u pls send me the EMail Copy of the letter- request u made w/ 20+ photo/pics to City Mgr Murray, Public Works Dir. Mishra, cc, etc re the City Dog Park, Dead Deer Caracas, Caretakers House/Trails, BBQ Grove In and along the Adobe Road corridor/areas of disrepair, as I think 🤔 it has now been over 2 months and nothing has been done to remediate any of those PUBLIC HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUES (only a one n half items were only partially addressed ie the Cutting-down of 2 BIG-OLD DEAD TREES behind Caretakers house (after almost 1 year of my continual prodding to the Mayor, City Council & Fire Dept), n less than 1/2 yard of Drain-Rock way too little/sparsely scattered around the Large-Dog Park Entry Way n Watering Station) in attempts to keep some of the dust, dirt, mud n erosion to a minimum, though notta drop of drain rock was placed in n around the parks benches n table areas, n NO drain-rock at all in the SMALL DOG PARK?!
FYI, The DEAD-DEER carcus/remains is now just Parts of its Ribs, Legs- BONES STILL REMAIN 5’-10’ off/near the back-side of the asphalt Dog Park Trail n brush that still not only continues to attract dirty n unwanted vermin, flies, coyotes as well as our city park people’s pet-dogs🐕 🐶!!!
Also, in the past 2-3 months both the 1270:Adobe Road Areas Street Light/ Lamp has been OUT n the the areas BBQ GROVE PARK TRAIL 2-3 LIGHTS/LAMPS have all been OUT, in addition, thenMAIN/ LARGE DOG PARK SPOT-LIGHT LAMP that sits over/ on the ROOFTOP OF THE DOG PARKS RESTROOMS IS OUT TOO as well as the TIMER on it NEEDS TO BE RESET to an EARLIER TIME of 5pm when it’s getting dark- earlier NOW!!! I reported ALL OF THIS ITEMS OVER 3 WEEKS AGO by phone to PINOLE PUBLIC WORKS DEPT via the CODE ENFORCEMENT DEPT to no avail!? 😢 😔
Also, after numerous request by many to our Mayor City Council, Police, Departments-Staff Mgrs/Directors, yet no avail, sooo what’s it going to take ( if not a tragic accident, injury, death n/ or an act of Congress) to get ALL THE STREET POLES, LAMPS “LIGHTS-OUTAGES” ON PINOLE VALLEY ROAD REPAIRED/REPLACED (from Henry Street up thru PV 7-11)?!
