Some items of note- honoring the PVHS football team for winning the D6 Championship, adopting the code of ethics as part of the municipal code (and expanding it to apply to the city treasurer), hiring a consultant for the parks master plan (allocating $50k in funds beyond previous budgeted, with a contingency of an additional 50k if needed), hiring a new cleaning firm for the pool, allowing for FBI fingerprint background checks for city employees (also barring felons and persons who committed misdemeanors of “moral turpitude”, whatever that means from employment by the city), and increasing the budget for city council members to attend trainings each year.
