Temporary trash pickup site for Pinole residents- 7-12-25

Saturday, 7-12- Temporary waste dumpsite, indefinite duration, in person at 651 Pinole Shores Dr (trash bags at city hall, Pinole Police Department, Senior Center).

Pinole Community,

The City of Pinole understands the inconvenience caused by the ongoing Republic Services Solidarity Strike, which has disrupted residential waste collection. We sympathize with the challenges this has created and are taking proactive steps to support you. As part of our contingency plan, we’ve established a free temporary dumpsite at the driveway of the 651 Pinole Shores Dr. to help manage household trash during this period.

Temporary Dumpsite Details:
📍 Location: 651 Pinole Shores Dr, Pinole, CA, 94564
✅ Guidelines:

Only Pinole residents should access the temporary dumpsite.
Please limit to 2 bags of household trash per household due to space constraints.
No hazardous materials or recyclables – only regular household trash.
No oversized trash.
Alternatively, drop off up to 4 bags free at Golden Bear Transfer Station (1 Parr Blvd, Richmond, CA 94801). You can also get free sturdy trash bags at this facility. See prior post for details.
Free heavy-duty garbage bags (up to 3 per household, first-come, first-serve) are available at City Hall, Pinole Police Department, and Pinole Senior Center. More bags will be provided if needed in the future.

The City of Pinole is committed to addressing this disruption and has been preparing solutions to ensure our residents needs are met while the strike continues. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Please be mindful and keep your trash containers off the curb or streets until Republic Services announces pickup resumption.

Stay updated at http://www.republicservices.com for the latest on pickup schedules.

Thank you for your understanding as we work together through this challenge!” (https://www.pinole.gov/temporary-dumpsite-open-for-pinole-residents/)
