There is one presentation administring the oath of office to new commissioners, and a discussion of the Halloween Movie this Friday.

Under new business, there is approving the minutes of the meeting for October 23rd 2024 (pages 5-7), reviewing the community service commission bylaws (pages 8-11), discussion of a Veterans Day event, Holiday Events Update, and the Holiday Meeting Schedule.

Finance Workshop, 10-14-25

There is only one item on the agenda- the Finance Workshop. The staff report is on page 4 (noting that staff recommends 3 strategies for polling and future agenda items- a bond program for infrastructure, a parcel tax for Public Safety and/or a Special Tax for Public Safety; and that the goal of the workshop is to determine which strategies the council wants to have as future agenda items/poll), and the presentation is on pages 5-18.

Filipino American History Month Celebration, 10-11-25

Coastal Cleanup Day 9-20-25

Saturday, 9-20- Coastal Cleanup Day, 8:30 AM-12 PM, in person. Come down
to Bayfront Park to help clean up the city with your fellow Pinoleans!
If you have buckets and work gloves you should bring those, but if not
the city usually has some available. It’s a great way to enjoy some time

Wednesday, 8-27- General Plan Workshop (Safety and Environmental Justice Elements), 6 PM-8 PM, hybrid, Pinole Library. “The City of Pinole welcomes you to a key Public Workshop on the Safety and Environmental Justice Elements that are part of the City’s General Plan on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Pinole Public Library (2935 Pinole Valley Road) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Organized by the Community Development Department with Michael Baker International, this hybrid event (in-person and Zoom) will discuss updates to the Safety Element and the introduction of a new Environmental Justice Element in the General Plan. Mandated by new State Housing Law, these updates incorporate the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan and Health Element to advance equity and resilience.
