There is one closed session item- CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS Gov. This item was continued to a future meeting.

There are two new business items- the first is the FY 25/26 2nd quarter budget review and adjustment, which has a decrease in revenue of $90,500 for PCTV due to loss of sponsorships (page 187, because the summaries are unclear), an increase in general fund expenditures of $99,366, increase in equipment reserve fund revenue of $68,747 and expenditures of $89,819, and solid waste fund increase in revenue of $1,156,000 (page 154) (staff report pages 153-4, fiscal impact page 154, resolution page 155, summary of adjustments page 156, financial report pages 157-196).

The second is approving an employment agreement for Garrett Evans to become the Interim City Manager for the City of Pinole (staff report pages 197-8, fiscal impact $22,744.36 per month offset by attrition from the current vacancy page 198, resolution pages 199-201, employment agreement pages 202-6).

Senior Food Program, 2-10-26

Tuesday, 2-10- Senior Food Program, 10-11 AM, in person (Pinole Senior Center). “The Senior Center partners with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano County to offer the Senior Food Program. Low-income senior citizens ages 55+ to receive free groceries, including healthy staples, eggs, cheese, and assorted meats twice a month. The program is available for Pinole senior residents only. This program takes place every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Individuals interested in the program must complete the Senior Food Program Application. Applications are available at the Senior Center and can also be found on the Pinole Senior Center website: http://www.pinole.gov/seniors. Join us at the Pinole Pollinator Pathway on Saturday, February 7 from 10am-11:30am at Fernandez Park! The Friends of Pinole Creek Watershed, the Pinole Garden Club, and the City of Pinole will celebrate the installation of the Native Pollinator Garden plot in Fernandez Park by the Children’s Play Structure.

There will be a seedling giveaway, a raffle for larger California natives, and an introduction to how citizens can participate. You will be encouraged to sign up to discuss how your garden can become more pollinator friendly and we’ll have medallions available for purchase.
