There are 3 items on the agenda- approving the minutes of the 1-14-26 meeting, Financial Year (FY) 26/27 fiscal and investment policy review (no changes recommended) (staff report pages 11-14, policies pages 15-48), and FY 26/27 budget planning (staff report pages 49-51, anticipated opportunities and challenges pages 52-7, preliminary long-term fiscal forecast pages 58-9). I would highlight, again, the deficit spike in FY 2030 and onwards due to the expiry of the 115 trust and increased PERS (pension) and OPEB (retiree medical care) costs as shown in the preliminary long-term forecast.
